Bing and Yahoo Adcenter

Bing Ads Content Ads give search advertisers a way to easily extend their reach to potential customers who are browsing websites. Content Ads are text ads displayed next to relevant, high-quality content on Microsoft and Yahoo! websites, and across our network of partner sites.

Bing Ads analyses the content of a website and matches relevant, keyword-targeted ads to display on the page. For example, if a user views a website about Bed & Breakfast in Edinburgh, Bing Ads could show advertisements for Bed & breakfast, Hotels and Guest houses in or near Edinburgh.

The result: relevant ads displayed to the right users.

Distribute as you choose

When you submit ads through Bing Ads, Microsoft distributes them on the Microsoft Content Network, which includes Microsoft-owned, Yahoo-owned, and high-quality partner sites. Within Bing Ads, you can select whether to have your ads distributed on search pages, content pages, or both. It’s easy to set up content distribution for entire campaigns or individual ad groups.

How it works!

In the search engine display in Google there are two sets of ads displayed. Google use targeted advertisement by collecting data from you every time you use the internet. On the main display(left side) there is an peach coloured box, these are paid advertising, also to the right of there is adword advertising this is the pay per click section. This requires a lot of groundwork researching what keywords are being searched for in your area. Yahoo and Bing search engines also display ads, the ads are more general as no data is collected on your internet use.
